My Years on the Front Line.
My name is Graham Johnson and I am the founder of Vetting Hub. I spent 18 years running National Vetting Solutions, a specialist employment screening and vetting company that I founded in 2006. During those 18 years I worked with clients across some of the most demanding regulated sectors in the UK including security, healthcare, financial services, education and government.
I saw forged passports submitted by candidates who had invested significant time and money making them look genuine. I identified manipulated employment histories crafted to hide gaps, dismissals and criminal convictions. I flagged identity fraud at the point of screening that would have placed genuinely unsuitable individuals into positions of significant trust. I trained my teams and our clients so they fully understodd every element and process full.
Over the many years I oversaw and audited hundreds of thousands of vetting files. I understood what regulators actually look for, what documentation needs to exist and what a genuinely defensible screening process looks like from the inside. I became a BS7858 Certified Trainer. That knowledge does not come from a classroom. It comes from doing the work, year after year, across a career built entirely inside this industry.
